This handmade petite pendant necklace is made from the delicate and lovely antique pink Depression era glass. It’s sized to match our rectangle earrings.
       

Antique pink glass made during the 1930′s and 40′s in great quantities, now highly prized by collectors around the world. From the many broken dishes and housewares found in the old glass dumps.
       

The embossing pattern will vary on each piece, but each will reflect the beautiful delicate Cherry Blossom pattern made so popular long ago.

Digital photos of the paintings are printed onto transparent decal material and affixed to an upcycled clear plastic CD spacer. Christine drills a hole through the disk and attaches a suction cup on a hook so it’s easy to hang it in the window and let the sun shine in!

World War II Era Mason Jar Square Earrings
These unusual earrings have been artistically designed from the broken remains of a World War II Era Mason Jar!
       

Remember those old blue canning jars from your grandmother’s house? In an effort to help the environment and protect the wildlife, this artist reclaimed the broken pieces from an old glass dump to create these striking earrings.

After being hand cut and carefully smoothed, each piece is drilled and hung on a 1/2″ sterling silver hoop and french ear wires. Due to the nature of antique glass and each piece being hand worked, there will be differences in waves, bubbles, and hues. Each piece comes with “The Story of the Glass” detailing the history of your piece of glass making each a true conversation piece!
       

The glass measures 1/2″ square and hangs from a 1/2″ sterling hoop and sterling french ear wires. Total hang length is approx 1 1/4″.

All our holiday cards are printed on 100% recycled, 100% post-consumer waste paper. We use soy based inks, biodegradable/compostable cellophane, and recycled cardboard.

We use 100% post-consumer waste paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council(FSC). All ink is soy based and non-toxic. Our paper is processed Totally Chlorine Free(TCF). All manufacturing is 100% wind powered generated. Cellophane sleeves for gift cards are 100% biodegradable.
       

Converting trees into paper uses large amounts of energy, water and chemicals, and can generate vast amounts of air and water pollution. Post-Consumer Waste Paper is paper that has been used by the consumer and kept out of a landfill through a recycling program. It is considered the most environmentally efficient, since it has had at least one useful life before returning to service.
       

Totally Chlorine Free(TCF) indicates that no chlorine or chlorine compounds were used in the pulping process. Chlorine bleaching produces by-products including dioxins and furans. When released into the water, dioxins do not break down. As early as 1985, EPA labeled dioxins “the most potent carcinogen ever tested in laboratory animals.”

The cotton yarn is derived from pre-consumer textile table remnants, that are cleaned and separated into raw fibers. The cotton fibers are then blended with 24% new acrylic fibres and spun into yarn for sweaters. What’s more is that the fibers are not re-colored, as the careful mixing of textile cuttings creates the eye-catching palette.
